Quick Overview

This Malbec presents a deep and bright purplish red color. On the nose, intense red fruit aromas, spice hints and a subtle french oak touch that gives some idea of coffee and tobacco, though the fruit definitely remains as the main protagonist. Solid and sweet tannins, with a pleasant and long finish.

Product Description

Urano, the "god of the skies" in Greek mythology, is the name we choose for this range of wines, making references to the clean and magnificent skies of Mendoza, which, framed by the Andes, create special conditions for vine cultivation.

Urano wines summarize a modern wine concept, which combines a very careful work in the vineyard and at the winery. There, each slop seeks to boost the aim of this range, which is the fruit always plays the lead, in combination with intense colors, vivid nuances, elegancy on the nose, and is a good structure on the palate, which is enhanced by the subtle and equilibrated aging in French and American Oak Barrels.

This range is made with grapes produced at our own properties in Agrelo, Lujan de coyo and in Eugenio Bustos, in the Uco Valley, with yields no higher than 8500 Kgs/Hectare.

Winemaker Profile Eral Bravo is the new wine undertaking of the Sanchez Nieto Family. They have been making high quality wines for over 30 years, since the time when Don Nicanor Nieto founded one of the most prestigious wineries of Argentina, which was sold to an important group a short time ago. Eral Bravo has a clear purpose: to produce high quality wines in limited items, for an increasingly demanding consumer. The family vineyards are located in the most select regions of Mendoza, as the High Agrelo and the High Ugarteche, in Lujan de Cuyo, and Eugene Bustos, in the Uco Valley. The name Eral Bravo is inspired in the family tradition of breeding the Iberic bull, the "toro bravo" in the Salamanca region in Spain. In this region, "Eral" is the name given to the bull between two and three years of age. At this age, the Iberic bull starts showing his essential characteristic: the bravery or "bravura". The characteristics highly sought and praised in the breeding of the "toro bravo" and so respected in this noble, elegant and unique animal coincides with the concept of wines with which the Sanchez Nieto Family identifies itself.
