Balletto 2007 Pinot Noir
Quick Overview
This dark-ruby red estate-bottled Russian River Pinot Noir is vibrant and complex on the nose and shows bright cherry and raspberry aromas with wonderful spicy undertones of cedar and cardamom. In the mouth, the cherry fruit overlays silky tannins that leave a lingering feeling of spice-infused chocolate.

| Winemaker Profile | 2001 was the first vintage for Balletto Vineyards. As grape growers first, Balletto feels strongly that with good grapes comes good wine. It all starts in the field. The grapes are handpicked and only French barrels are used from a variety of barrel makers. In addition, all of the wines go through malolactic fermentation. With the help of consulting winemaker Dan Cederquist, Balletto has produced an excellent representation of Russian River Valley Chardonnay, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Russian River Zinfandel and Sonoma Coast Pinot Gris. |
