Bodegas Lan's stunning 70-hectare estate vineyard - Vina Lanciano was originally planted by the Romans on the bank of River Ebro. This privileged enclave benefits from both Atlantic and Mediterranean influence and this special climate together with pebbly soil and 40-60 years old Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano vines provides unique ingredients for the superb quality of Bodegas Lan wines.
Singular to Lan is its pioneering use of mixed oak barrels to age their wines, with the American oak enhancing the full flavour and smooth texture, while the additional use of French and Central European casks adds an extra level of complexity.
